Ingredients

- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
2️⃣ Sear the Chicken: Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Sauté the Aromatics: In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes until softened.
4️⃣ Make the Sauce: Stir in sour cream, chicken broth, Dijon mustard, and thyme. Simmer gently while stirring occasionally.
5️⃣ Combine & Simmer: Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over it, and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
6️⃣ Season & Serve: Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

- For a thicker sauce, simmer longer or add a cornstarch slurry.
- Bone-in chicken can be used but requires a longer cooking time.
