  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Divide the pizza dough into 4 equal portions. Roll each portion into a circle approximately 6 inches in diameter.

  3. Fill the Calzones: Place 2-3 tablespoons of the filling onto one half of each dough circle, leaving a border around the edges. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape, and seal the edges by pressing together and crimping with a fork.
  4. Apply the Egg Wash: Brush the tops of the calzones with the beaten egg to give them a golden, glossy finish.
  5. Air Fry: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the calzones in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them. Air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
