Description

Caramel apple pecan dump cake is an easy, indulgent dessert layered with apple pie filling, caramel sauce, buttery cake mix, and crunchy pecans. It’s warm, gooey, and perfect for fall or holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  1. 2 cans (21 oz each) apple pie filling
  2. 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  3. 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow or spice cake mix
  4. 3/4 cup unsalted butter (melted or thinly sliced)
  5. 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  6. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  7. Optional toppings: vanilla ice cream or whipped cream

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  1. Spread the apple pie filling evenly over the bottom of the dish.
  2. Drizzle caramel sauce over the apples and sprinkle with cinnamon if using.
  3. Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the fruit layer.
  4. Pour melted butter evenly over the cake mix or place thin slices across the top.
