Description

Caramel Apple Cheese Ball is a creamy, sweet dessert dip packed with fall flavors like apple, caramel, and a crunchy toffee or nut coating. It’s a festive, no-bake treat perfect for parties and holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 small apple, peeled and finely chopped (preferably Granny Smith)
  • 23 tablespoons caramel sauce (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits or finely chopped nuts (for coating)
  • Optional for serving: graham crackers, pretzels, apple slices, vanilla wafers

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined.
  3. Fold in chopped apple and caramel sauce. Stir until evenly incorporated.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 30–60 minutes, or until mixture firms enough to shape.
  5. Place mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap and shape into a ball. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for another 30 minutes.
  6. Spread toffee bits or chopped nuts on a plate. Unwrap cheese ball and roll in the coating until fully covered.
  7. Drizzle with additional caramel sauce before serving.
  8. Serve with graham crackers, pretzels, or apple slices.

Notes

  • For stronger apple flavor, use dried apples instead of fresh.
  • Add cinnamon or apple pie spice to enhance fall flavors.
  • Wait to roll in coating until just before serving for best texture.
  • Let cheese ball sit at room temp 10–15 minutes before serving for easier spreading.
  • Do not freeze; texture may be compromised.
