Description

Blender Ice Cream is a quick, creamy, and customizable no-churn treat made with frozen fruit, yogurt, or cream, offering the perfect balance of sweetness and texture in just minutes.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups frozen fruit (such as berries, mango, or banana)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or full-fat coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or regular yogurt
  • 12 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Add frozen fruit to a high-speed blender or food processor. If using banana, slice it before adding.
  2. Add the Cream and Yogurt: Add heavy cream (or coconut milk for dairy-free) and yogurt to the blender to help create a creamy texture.
  3. Blend Until Smooth: Blend on high speed until the mixture is thick and creamy. Scrape the sides of the blender as needed to ensure even mixing.
  4. Adjust Sweetness: Taste the mixture and add honey or maple syrup to sweeten, then blend again until smooth. You can also add vanilla extract for extra flavor.
  5. Serve Immediately: For soft-serve, serve the ice cream immediately in bowls or cones. If you prefer a firmer texture, transfer it to an airtight container and freeze for 1-2 hours before serving.
  6. Garnish and Enjoy: Top with chocolate chips, fresh fruit, or crushed nuts if desired.

Notes

  • For a chocolate twist, add 2-3 tablespoons of cocoa powder or melted chocolate.
  • Make it vegan by using coconut milk and dairy-free yogurt, and substitute maple syrup for sweetener.
  • Add a tropical flair with a pineapple-mango blend and coconut milk.
  • Feel free to mix in crushed nuts or chocolate chips after blending for added texture.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 1 week; let it sit out for a few minutes to soften before scooping.
