Description

Banana Peanut Butter Pretzel Pie with Chocolate is a no-bake dessert with a crunchy pretzel crust, creamy peanut butter filling, sliced bananas, and a silky chocolate ganache topping, delivering the perfect balance of sweet, salty, creamy, and crunchy.

Ingredients

  1. 2 cups crushed pretzels
  2. 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  3. 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  4. 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  5. 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  6. 1 cup powdered sugar
  7. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  8. 8 oz whipped topping (such as Cool Whip) or homemade whipped cream
  9. 34 ripe bananas, sliced
  10. 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  11. 1/2 cup heavy cream
  12. Optional: extra crushed pretzels or chopped peanuts for garnish

Instructions

In a bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until it resembles wet sand.

  1. Press mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Chill for 30 minutes to set.
  2. In a large bowl, beat peanut butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Fold in whipped topping until light and fluffy.
  4. Arrange sliced bananas evenly over the chilled pretzel crust.
  5. Spread peanut butter filling evenly over bananas.
  6. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and heavy cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  7. Pour ganache over peanut butter filling and smooth the top.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
  9. Garnish with extra crushed pretzels, chopped peanuts, or banana slices before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • For best presentation, add fresh banana garnish right before serving to prevent browning.
  • Use stabilized whipped cream if making ahead.
  • Press crust firmly to help it hold together.
  • Graham cracker crust can be substituted for a less salty base.
