- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (for topping)

- Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
Notes
- Add chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts to the topping for extra crunch.
- Use gluten-free flour and oats to make the dessert gluten-free.
- Top with caramel drizzle for added sweetness.
- Combine with other fruits like pears or berries for a flavor variation.
- Best served fresh, but can be stored and reheated.
