Description

This Caramel Apple Fudge is the perfect fall treat, blending the creamy richness of white chocolate with the tangy sweetness of apple cider. With hints of cinnamon and nutmeg, this easy-to-make fudge delivers a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture that everyone will love. The addition of dried apples (optional) offers a delightful twist to the classic fudge. Ideal for holiday gatherings, snacking, or gifting, this dessert will quickly become a favorite!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried apples (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine apple cider and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the butter melts and the mixture simmers.
  2. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and let it simmer for about 5 minutes while stirring constantly.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and add in white chocolate chips, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Stir until the chocolate chips melt and the mixture becomes smooth.
  4. If using dried apples, fold them in.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 8×8-inch baking pan and spread evenly.
  6. Let the fudge cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 2-3 hours until firm.
  7. Once set, cut the fudge into squares and serve.

Notes

  • For extra texture, add nuts like chopped pecans or walnuts to the mixture.
  • Adjust the spice level by increasing cinnamon or adding a pinch of ginger.
  • If you prefer a chocolatey finish, drizzle melted dark or milk chocolate on top before refrigerating.
